Mirror reporter Victoria Murphy has been with Kate and Wills every step of their tour so far.
It was an emotional day in Christchurch today with the royal couple visiting victims of the devastating 2011 earthquake.
But there was also time for some fun with both the Duke and Duchess trying their hand at cricket.

Our royal reporter Victoria Murphy gives us an indicator on tomorrow's schedule.

Double trouble!
While they were in Christchurch, Kate and William met a row of five sets of twins.
They all managed to behave themselves and know one another after their mothers met at a multiple birth club.

It was a poignant day in Christchurch today as William and Kate met families of the victims of the devastating 2011 earthquake.
Just a few metres from where they spoke with bereaved relatives sat a moving art installation - rows of white chairs, one for each of the 185 people who lost their lives.
The sight of a tiny baby car seat in the front row is enough to get anyone blubbing - but the mood was one of optimism and rebuilding the future as the royals toured the city.
And Kate had everyone laughing when she got stuck in with a game of cricket - despite wearing three-inch stilettos.
Only 11-year-old Jodie Dean was unimpressed with Kate's outfit. "It wasn't very realistic" she said. Ouch.

Allow our royal reporter Victoria Murphy to explain...

4:31 am
The crowds in Christchurch have been enthusiastic about William and Kate's visit to say the least.
The Mirror's royal reporter Victoria Murphy is in New Zealand with the couple and says the crowds at one point were shouting: "Catherine, William, Catherine, William."

4:02 am
People magazine's chief foreign correspondent Simon Perry has shared a photograph of Kate and William's Christchurch lunch menu on instagram.
The couple enjoyed smoked salmon and poached chick served with a selection of fruit and vegetables.
Petit fours, truffles and coffee rounded off their meal.

New Zealand cricket legend Sir Richard Hadlee gives William some pointers on how to bowl during his visit to Christchurch's Hagley Oval.
At the other end?

Here's the latest dispatch from the Mirror's royal reporter Victoria Murphy in Christchurch....
The Duchess of Cambridge got stuck in with a game of cricket today - even though she was wearing three-inch heels.
Kate picked up the bat and took several shots during a game with young people in the city's central square to promote the fact the cricket world cup will be in Christchurch next year.
Despite the fact her red Luisa Spagnoli skirt suit and black suede heels were the completely wrong attire for sport, Kate showed off her batting skills after meeting the families of some of the 185 people who lost their lives in the devastating earthquake that hit the city in February 2011.
The thousands of people lining the streets loved her efforts, chanting: "Catherine, Catherine."
But 11-year-old Jodie Dean was unimpressed with Kate's outfit.
She said: "It wasn't very realistic."
William also joined in with the cricket and proved to be a good shot, hitting the ball several feet on more than one occasion.
Former New Zealand batswoman Debbie Hockley, 51, gave Kate a few tips as she stood at the crease twirling her bat.
She said afterwards: "I told her don't worry about technique just smash it.
"She was quite nervous but she kept her eye on the ball.
"I thought they were great sports to take part in it.
"I couldn't bat in high heels.
"She's not played before so it's a pretty good effort and she did the best she could."
But Kate told Lee German, Chief Executive of the New Zealand cricket association and former New Zealand cricket captain she wasn't a novice and played cricket at school.
He said: "People involved in cricket have been looking forward to this day for a long time.
"Catherine and William were superb.
"The way they spoke to the children was fantastic.
"I talked to them about the cricket world cup and how it was important for us as a city to have a major world cup and we're in the process of building an English-style cricket ground.
"Catherine told me she played cricket at school which was pretty interesting, she didn't say when."
Jamie Elley, 11, who faced two balls from William, said: "He was rusty.
"He does too many full tosses.
"But the second one was good."
Zachary Gimblett, 11, said: "He played a nice drive."
When Timothy Cross, 12, bowled at William he was hit for four with a cover drive.
"I was a bit gutted but I will get him next time."
2:31 am
The crowds have certainly come out for Kate and William in Christchurch today.
And many people seem really very pleased to see the royal couple.
One happy camper is a Twitter user known only as Aimee W.
She tweeted: "Saw William and Kate!!
"It was so awesome!!!!! #RoyalTour #Christchurch."

2:20 am
The Mirror's Ian Vogler has sent in this photograph of Kate and Wills.
The royal couple can be seen with the ICC Cricket World Cup trophy.
The tournament will be jointly hosted by Australia and New Zealand next year.

2:13 am
After trying their hands at cricket, William and Kate were spirited away to officially Christchurch Visitors' Centre.
Here is a photo of the unveiling, posted on Twitter by the office of New Zealand's Governor-General...

2:00 am
Another shot of Kate at the crease here, this time from the Mirror's Ian Vogler.
Is she hitting a four there?
Or is it a play and a miss?
Either way, we're not sure a skirt suit and heels is the best get-up for a serious game of cricket....

1:57 am
And here's William having a bowl.
Look at the concentration on his face....

1:50 am
Next year, New Zealand and Australia will be jointly hosting the ICC Cricket World Cup.
With that in mind, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge got the chance to put theur cricket skills to the test in Christchurch today.
Here's a picture of Kate taking guard....

1:20 am
More from the office of Sir Jerry Mateparae - this time, a photo of Kate Middleton receiving a balloon bouquet from a beaming child...

Another photo here from the office of New Zealand's Governor-General.
This picture shows William and Kate paying a visit to Christchurch's so-called Transitional Cathedral.
The original cathedral was damaged beyond repair in the 2011 earthquake which devastated this city.
The visit to the cathedral came after Wills and Kate stopped at the CTV building.
1:01 am
After being welcomed to Christchurch at the city council headquarters, William and Kate were taken to the former headquarters of Canterbury Television, known as the CTV Building, which became a symbol of the 2011 earthquake when it collapsed, killing 16 members of staff.
There, the royals met family members of those who died in the tragedy.
This photograph, taken by the office of New Zealand Governor-General Sir Jerry Mateparae and posted on Twitter shows Kate receiving a bouquet of flowers from an elderly lady.

Here is a photograph of the outfit Kate is wearing in Christchurch today.
Taken by the Mirror's Ian Vogler, it shows the Duchess of Cambridge in an elegant scarlet skirt suit by the Italian designer Luisa Spagnoli.
You look positively radiant Kate.

Another picture from Victoria Murphy here - and this one is rather poignant.
It shows 185 chairs - one in memory of each person who died in the Christchurch earthquake three years ago.
Heartbreaking when you note the baby car seat.
